Visqueen has opened a dedicated Training Academy at its Derbyshire headquarters to provide up-to-date ground waterproofing and gas protection training courses.
The structural waterproofing and gas protection system manufacturer and supplier is focusing on delivering the highest levels of training, service and support to meet the needs of the building products market.
The Academy benefits from a teaching room and nine different training bays, enabling it to meet both theoretical and practical requirements.
Visqueen will offer individual day courses providing an overview of ground gas protection requirements to three-day courses which give detailed training in the practical skills required for waterproofing product application, all the courses are designed to help specifiers and users improve their skills and help in their day-to-day jobs.
Phil Bull, Visqueen’s Sales Director, comments: “Building regulations and codes of practice for gas protection and below-ground waterproofing have evolved significantly over the past few years.
“Understanding these new standards has formed a key part of Visqueen’s recent R&D and sales support programme, and our investment in the new Visqueen Training Academy is leading the way in ensuring we support this with practical advice and hands on experience for our customers.”
Those who attend the academy will receive a certificate of attendance from a Visqueen Trained Installer.
