SFS focuses on OEM with new appointment

  • 26 Oct 2017

SFS has recently appointed a new Business Development Manager who will provide the company with three decades of experience in the roofing and cladding industry.

Craig Smith, who has previously worked as Saint-Gobain’s specialist insulation and dry lining distribution business where he was National Sales Manager.

Craig’s role will provide roofing and cladding sector OEMs with a single point of contact to match their panel systems with the most suitable, best-performing fastening solutions.

By helping OEMs to access SFS’s new product development expertise and technical support, based at the company’s UK HQ in Leeds, Craig will be instrumental in ensuring the right solution can be developed to meet the ever growing creativity and technical complexity that drives new panel designs.

In addition, Craig will also focus on developing SFS’s market in fall protection under the SOTER brand through OEMs, plus its range of NVELOPE cladding and rain screen support brackets which perfectly complement the SFS fastener range.

Craig comments on his new role at SFS: “I’ve worked with SFS from an OEM perspective for many years and I share the team’s passion for outstanding service, backed with valuable technical know-how, to deliver the best results for clients. I’m really looking forward to working closely with OEMs to add-value to their roofing and cladding systems in the pursuit of end-client satisfaction and more sustainable buildings.”
