WeldTec essential for tradespeople say Irwin

  • 4 Jan 2018

The WeldTec® Circular Saw Blade range, synonymous with incredible strength, durability and longevity, is an essential product for tradespeople, say manufacturers IRWIN® Tools.

Used in construction, demolition and speciality applications, IRWIN® Tools’ range offers products a 30% stronger tooth bond and 50% longer life compared to conventional blades, thanks to its welded carbide teeth.

This means trade professional can get more out of their tools, in turn boosting the efficiency and productivity of a job.

The innovative WeldTec process from Irwin gives the blade a strong bond, which protect against any danger of unexpected nail strikes or undesired objects stuck in the wood.

As well as the benefits the aforementioned welded carbide teeth bring, there are the ultra-compact carbide teeth , which are 70% tougher than standard carbide for supremer sharpness and cut quality.

Other fantastic features include innovative heat vents, which maintain the blade’s coolness whilst the cut takes place, which stops the material burning and helps to preserve the life of the blade and its fully hardened plate, ensuring increased accuracy, longer life and durability.

On top of all this, there is the alternate top bevel tooth grind, perfect for cross cutting and ripping in all wood varieties.

Head of Marketing, UK and ROI at Stanley Black & Decker, Stacey Leigh, commented: “Our blades address the key performance needs that our customers require and offer great blade control and long product life without sacrificing speed.

“The WeldTec® Circular Saw Blade is an ideal tool for professionals to have to ensure they get the job efficiently.”
