You won’t resist Talasey’s Resiscape

  • 22 Feb 2018

The Talasey Group has announced the launch of the newest landscaping product to hit its portfolio with the new resin bound aggregate system, Resiscape.

The Resiscape system can be specified for both commercial and domestic projects. Quick and easy to install, it provides users with one of the strongest systems on the market, creating a hard wearing, low maintenance surface which is flexible and resistant to cracking.

The system is flat in appearance and has an even and uniform finish on its surface.

Coming in pre-measured bags, Resiscape comes in six standard colours: Dorset Gold, Black Basalt, Brittany Bronze, Danish Quartz, Red Granite and Silver Blue (other colours are available on special order).

This gives many options for matching it with other aspects of a property.

Resiscape must be laid on a solid sub base, with concrete and tarmac being the strongest options on offer. Best results will be achieved if the existing base is in fairly good condition, as this helps guarantee the durability of the overlay.

Also, Resiscape cannot be applied to paving with joints between each unit, such as block pavers, as cracking could be the result.

Malcolm Gough, Group Sales & Marketing Director at Talasey Group said that the new product will ‘satisfy customer demands for low maintenance, attractive, hard wearing landscaping products.’

Each Resiscape Kit will cover a maximum of 4 square metres at 15mm depth, based on laying on a smooth surface; this is not considering surface texture or wastage.

For heavy traffic areas, a thicker layer of the product is need to make sure of the integrity of the system.

The product is delivered directly to site and comes with installation kits, which contain the requisite measures of aggregate and resin for installation. This helps lower the amount of fitting difficulties, thus making the installation process more time-efficient.
