dormakaba‘s impressive range of CEN-rated padlocks will be showcased at this year’s Security & Counter Terror Expo, at Olympia London on 6th to 7th March.

At booth K61, dormakaba will be talking about its new quality standard with the approval of LPCB (Loss Prevention Council Board).

This board works with government and industry professionals to set minimum standards, ensuring fire and security products perform.

The padlocks are now LPS 1654: Issue 1 credited, which is the newest physical security standard and features the greatest level of attack testing for padlocks.

The main difference with this testing standard is the security rating classification is judged by the time it takes to take off a padlock based on different types of commonly used tools.

Accreditation is only granted by strenuous third-party testing, offering maximum protection for British infrastructure sectors.

Clive Baker, Director of Security Locking at dormakaba, talked about the importance of this latest accreditation.

“Achieving LPS 1654: Issue 1 status provides our customers with reassurance of the reliability, security and performance of dormakaba padlocks and highlights our continued commitment to industry best practice,” he said.
