World Cup fever festival with REHAU

  • 25 Jun 2018

This year’s Langley Carnival, taking place on Saturday 14 July, will see REHAU host a stand with a penalty shootout competition, as World Cup fever sweeps the nation.

REHAU, which has offices in Langley, will also give the opportunity for people to have their faces painted, as well as a cake and bric-a-brac sale.

All moneys raised will go to REHAU’s charity, Scope, which provides support, information and advice to disabled people and their families.

This fundraising is part of a range of nationwide activities being undertaken by REHAU and the office in Langley, culminating in the Three Peak’s Challenge.

Laurence Chownsmith, National Sales Manager from the REHAU office in Langley, expressed the company’s delight at supporting the local community in Langley at the Carnival.

“We think the penalty shootout will be extra popular this year given that we’re in the middle of the World Cup. So please come and support our charity Scope by having a go at hitting the back of the net. And for those that don’t fancy taking a shot, we still have lots of other great activities and tasty cakes – so there’s something for everyone,” he said.

Langley Carnival is free to enter and will be taking place at the Langley Memorial Ground in Langley Road from noon until 4.30pm.
