Sidey’s sustainability success recognised at Scottish Environment Business Awards

Sidey is pleased to announce that not only has it officially been named as a finalist in The VIBES – Scottish Environment Business Awards – but it is the only finalist in fenestration for the Environmental Management SME category.

The VIBES aims to recognise and reward organisations for implementing environmental best practice in their daily activity within nine individual award categories.

Sidey prides itself on the fact that it produces no landfill from its manufacturing facilities and between 90 and 100 percent recyclable recoverable waste. The fenestration specialist has also demonstrated a clear commitment to sustainability with its array of environmental certification, including ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2017 and BS 8213-4:2016.

Bob Downes, chair of SEPA and head of The VIBES judging panel, adds: “The VIBES – Scottish Environment Business Awards are a great chance to recognise business leadership in sustainable environmental investment. This is at the core of SEPA’s One Planet Prosperity regulatory strategy. New approaches for delivering environmental improvements provide businesses with opportunities to enhance their sustainability and economic performance.
