Eco-Readymix invests in new trucks following huge demand

  • 16 Aug 2018

Eco-Readymix has increased its vehicle fleet to keep up with high mortar demand by recently taking delivery of two of the country’s first Porsche designed Euro 6 Scania XT’s.

This comes after an increasing amount of companies have started working with its eco-friendly mortar.

The pioneer in the environmental production of ready mix concrete, mortar and floor screed creates its products by using the most environmentally friendly techniques and components on offer, to lower on-site health and safety, machinery, maintenance and mess.

MD Gary Billington commentsed: “Truck investment has been our biggest outgoing over the past few years to keep up with demand. We currently run a fleet of more than 20 vehicles and take pride in our state-of-the-art fleet.

“We have just taken delivery of two of the country’s first Porsche designed Euro 6 Scania XT with a third to follow later this summer and have also purchased a 24-metre boom concrete pump, a 2-tonne transit Van for smaller deliveries and a new semi tipper trailer.

“We are absolutely delighted with the new trucks and they are vital in helping us to maximise efficiency and push Eco-Readymix even further forward.”

Gary possesses over 30 years of experience in the mortar business; he founded Eco-Readymix in 2008, with the family run Wrexham-based business currently having three plants and 36 staff.

It provides the highest quality products to the UK’s leading housing developers, civil engineers and construction companies, pushing the boundaries of environmentally friendly produced products in a way  never seen before.

Eco-Readymix’s wider product range now features concrete pump hire, flowing screeds, decorative concrete blocks and gravel and coloured mortars.
