REHAU have been celebrating the news that its new universal 10 bar pipework solution, RAUTITAN, has been shortlisted for Ancillary Product of the Year at the 2018 HVR Awards.
The HVR Awards showcase companies that have proved to be outstanding in their field, that have excellent technology or have shown phenomenal customer service and innovation.
The Ancillary Product of the Year category recognises excellence in ancillary products and explores their uses, applications and technological features, along with simplicity and cost.
The HVR Awards take place on Thursday 25 October at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.
Launched in September last year, RAUTITAN is a universal 10 bar polymer pipework solution, that can be used for both drinking water and heating systems.
It is available in Flex and Stabil (MLC pipe), with the inside of the pipe being very smooth; this, along with the independently certified cavity free joint, means there is no space for water to stagnate in, reducing the danger of bacteria making a presence in the pipe.
As well as being dual use, RAUTITAN is incredibly durable, with the ability to resist pressure loads of up to 10 bar, allowing it to be installed in high-rise, multi-occupancy buildings.
It is also the most flexible of all MLC polymer pipes on the market, but is still highly stable, meaning the risk of the pipe kinking is lowered.
As well as this, REHAU’s compression sleeve jointing technology means the pipe is leak proof – the only pipework system that can offer this level of reassurance.
RAUTITAN has fast become the construction industry’s go to pipework system, especially for multi-occupancy apartment buildings. It has a lifetime expectancy of over 50 years, therefore maintenance costs are kept low.
Having one pipe that does everything keeps construction cost effective and efficient.
