Huez* designed a stand for the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling Expo. It required a framework that was strong and secure, lightweight, transportable and quick and easy to assemble.
Kee Lite fittings provided by Key Systems was the right solution, being both ultra-light and strong, thanks to the high strength to weight ratio of the aluminium alloy.
Lorenzo Curci, founder and director of Huez*: The Kee Lite product was a very attractive solution, in terms of cost, convenience and quality. The Kee Systems team was really helpful, allowing us to borrow parts to test and answering any queries we had without delay.
The structures security and stability were excellent, as was the convenience of installation.
Huez* team was able to assemble the stand themselves as the system required no specialist labour and needed only a standard hex key to tighten recessed set screws and lock the tube firmly in place.
Kee Lite fittings offer flexibility and can thus be applied in various different settings, from contemporary shop fittings to industrial guard rails. In addition, they make it both simple and cost-effective to design and build, then change and extend, tubular structures.
Huez* was subsequently able to re-use the original fittings to create an installation in their London showroom.
With their bright aluminium finish, unique contoured design and discreetly-positioned set screws, Kee Lite® fittings deliver an aesthetically attractive finish.
Kee System supply and install structural tube and fittings, offering a total package from technical advice and specification to site surveys, estimating and a full supply and installation service as required. For more information, visit the website via the link below.
