Effective solutions for reverberation noise

  • 13 May 2015

Hush Acoustics has developed various solutions to reduce reverberation noise to a minimum.

Reverberation noise can be disruptive in many types of building.

Hush was recently involved in a project to reduce reverberation noise at a golf club bar, styled with chic timber flooring, painted masonry walls and a painted soffit.

The high-tech absorbers were fitted to the soffit, greatly reducing the reverberating noise levels and creating a more hospitable environment.

Solutions for large spaces

Reverberating noise can cause even greater difficulties in large spaces, such as theatre foyers, open plan offices or school halls.

In a recent Hush Acoustics project, a simple treating of the painted concrete soffit was enough to drastically reduce reverberating noise at a school hall.

Reverberation problems can affect many types of building, however the careful application of Hush Acoustics’ solutions can reduce reverberation noise leading to quiter, healthier environments.
