The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation’s sustainability campaign has been launched to encourage the development of a green community

The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation developed its ‘I’m a Green Warrior’ campaign with the aim of promoting the development of a greener community in Wigan.

The Foundation wants schools, colleges, businesses and individuals to engage with its renewable energy agenda.

It aims to educate young people about sustainability and its benefits.

As part of its three-year deal with the Warriors Foundation, Mitsubishi Electric will be the main sponsor for the sustainability campaign.

By entering into a partnership with Mitsubishi, the Foundation will be able to expand its delivery programme and introduce new projects to target the Wigan community.
