Colour experts from Johnstone’s Trade partnered with artists from Lime Art, a charity that delivers creative projects within healthcare, to produce the eye-catching artwork for the wing.
The Johnstone’s team delivered a bespoke colour specification, with a variety of media including Perspex being used to create the pieces, which were based around the Yorkshire at its Best’ theme.
Ideas from the patients, the public and local organisations such as the Alzheimer’s Society, were incorporated in to the artwork, designed to provide patients and visitors with a relaxing environment.
Bradford based contractor PEC Building and Shopfitting used Johnstone’s Acrylic Eggshell in off-white for the main wall areas and Acrylic Durable Matt to achieve the striking, colourful feature walls.
The two products provide an aesthetically pleasing, durable and easily maintainable solution ideal for application in environments such as hospitals and healthcare centres.
The Johnstone’s Trade products are fast drying, enabling the project to be completed as quickly as possible to prevent disruption to staff and patients.
