Johnstone’s gives colourful insight to students

Johnstone’s colour insights

Johnstone’s Trade has joined forces with design studio Unit3 to help architectural and design students gain a valuable insight into their chosen professions.

Throughout 2015, Unit3 is hosting a series of two-hour long sessions at the Baltic Creative in Liverpool, which includes presentations and discussions with practising architects and manufacturers such as Johnstone’s.

Students were given a small task by the Johnstone’s team, which encouraged them to develop a bespoke colour scheme for a fictional project.

Anthony Fogg from Unit3: ñThese sessions are proving hugely valuable to students looking to make their mark in such a competitive industry. For them to gain this kind of insight from leading manufacturers like Johnstone’s is certain to stand them in good stead.î

Johnstone’s commitment to developing colourful and sustainable products has benefited architects and designers across the UK since its formation 125 years ago.
