Tinytag temperature and humidity loggers monitor steel corrosion

  • 4 Nov 2014

The loggers monitor the fluctuation of temperature and humidity over 24 hours

The loggers were brought in to establish the fluctuation of temperature and humidity over a 24 hour period to check if the ventilation plant has been designed correctly and was operating within the required parameters.

Four Tinytag Ultra 2 temperature/RH loggers were placed in the supply air system, the return air system, as well as in the pool area to measure the external ambient conditions and test if they were working appropriately.

The recorded data was examined to assess whether the pool ventilation and dehumidification systems had been correctly fitted and were operating properly.

If the systems were found to not be functioning properly, then remedial work such as upgrading plant or equipment would need to be carried out.
