Since 2011, the Federation has launched a new website, downloadable technical publications, technical microsites and its Energy Savings Calculator.
CE Marking flow charts and templates from the company have also been released online.
The GGF’s website also features a digital news service that is updated weekly and the company produces a digital magazine for its Members once a month.
The website’s Members Area accommodates these features along with Group and Committee updates and a GGF contacts list.
In 2014, 261 enquiries were made to join the GGF’s website. This number is 59% higher than the number of enquiries made in 2013.
The GGF’s website also saw a 14.5% increase in unique page views and a 22% increase in sessions.
95,467 new users visited the site and technical publications were downloaded 14,145 times.
Following its online successes in 2014, the GGF plan to develop its online presence further this year.
It hopes to expand the Health and Safety, Technical Publications and Public Affairs sections of its Members Area and develop a way for non-Members to access Technical Information.
