Fire door specialist Ahmarra Door Installations has received the Contractor of the Month award from Balfour Beatty for its health and safety record at Gatwick’s North Terminal.

The company has supplied and fitted over 4,000 fire-rated doorsets across UK airports. It’s high performance timber doorstep and glazed screens are particularly suited to areas of high foot traffic that often have specific fire, acoustic and safety requirements.

The severe duty fire doors include ratings up to FD90 and up to 43 RwdB acoustic ratings. In addition, all materials are FSC certified.
