HSW EASY Safe

HSW EASY Safe sliding wall system launched by DORMA

  • 15 Feb 2016

DORMA UK has extended its range of horizontal sliding wall and glass partitions to include its new HSW EASY Safe system

Designed with frameless doors, the HSW EASY Safe is a horizontal sliding wall system, which has proved itself particularly suitable for installation in shopping malls as store fronts.

The system utilises Toughened Safety Glass (TSG) panels; DORMA’s Clamp & Glue Technology provides installers and specifiers with the opportunity to use Laminated Safety Glass (LSG) to significantly reduce the risk of glass breakage.

Locking devices have been included at the top and bottom of each panel, whilst a cylinder lock secures the whole assembly. An indicator shows the status of the locking device: green confirms that the panel is able to slide or pivot, whilst red indicates that the panel is locked.

The system’s top door rails incorporate double brush seals as standard; for enhanced draft exclusion, an additional set of vertical brush seals can be installed on the bottom rail.

HSW EASY Safe design

As a modular track system, the HSW EASY Safe can accommodate a number of different configurations to meet specific design requirements. A number of finishes and functional options are also available.

The open panels can be stacked in parallel with, or at an angle to, the frontage; they can be parked in view or concealed behind columns. To allow access through the closed frontage, single or double doors can be integrated into the sliding panels, or fitted as pivoting end panels.
