Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR vinyl flooring has been used in The Armoury Café and Kitchen at the Imperial War Museum Duxford in Cambridgeshire. The flooring design features concentric circles that are reminiscent of the Royal Air Force logo.
Designed by SHH Architecture & Interior Design, the refurbished restaurant space features a monochrome floor design created using 300m2 of Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR vinyl flooring.
Polyflor’s in-house Design Service team used water jet cutting technology to create the concentric circular design using the Smokestone, Nocturne and Quartz shades.
Sophie Tipper, an interior designer at SHH Architecture and Interior Design, commented: “We chose Classic Mystique flooring for this project as the client needed a durable product that was easy to maintain but could be used to create a bold, eye-catching pattern. Polyflor’s collection ticked the boxes for both performance and design.”
The Classic Mystique PUR range is available in 16 shades, all of which have a tonal non-directional appearance, with a duotone chip decoration and marbleised tonal highlight chips.
The collection is enhanced with Polyflor’s exclusive polyurethane reinforcement, which is cross linked and UV cured to offer superior cleaning benefits.
The vinyl flooring range contains recycled content and is 100% recyclable through the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme. It has also been individually certificated with a BRE Global A+ rating for major use areas.
