Countryside’s Novo development in Cambridge has used EcoTherm Eco-Torch insulation on the two-bed apartments and 4-bedroom houses situated in Great Kneighton.
Eco-Torch has a rigid polyisocyanurate insulation core faced with coated glass tissue on one side and bituminised glass fibre tissue with polypropylene fleece on the other, achieving thermal conductivities as low as 0.024 W/m.K. 10,000m2 of 100mm thick Eco-Torch was supplied to insulate the flat roofs of the development.
As Eco-Torch is lightweight, easy to install, and can help to meet building regulation requirements, it is ideal for new-build applications or for upgrading the thermal performance of existing buildings.
The flat roof board withstands the application of hot bitument and asphalt to the surface up to 230 degrees celsius, making it suitable for use with any hot applied roofing system or adhered single ply system on metal, timber or concrete decks.
All EcoTherm insulation boards are manufactured under a management system which is approved to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001. The insulation core is produced with a blowing agent which is CFC/HCFC free and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential with a low Global Warming Potential.
Leading UK acoustic systems manufacturer Hush Acoustics has introduced two additional variants of its Hushlay Soundmatting product.
