Mitsubishi air conditioning awarded Quiet Mark

  • 24 May 2017

Mitsubishi Electric’s M Series MSZ-LN wall mounted air conditioning units have just been awarded the Noise Abatement Society’s Quiet Mark for their almost silent performance.

The MSZ-LN is the first in the company’s comprehensive range of units utilising the new R32 refrigerant – which has a low global warming potential.

The streamlined design of the units complements the range of features to make energy efficient air conditioning available for all.

Toby Saville, Chief Technical Officer for Quiet Mark explained: “The Quiet Mark has been awarded to the new MSZ-LN range in recognition of Mitsubishi Electric’s continuing acoustic innovation and focus on sound levels.” The models sense room occupancy and turn on automatically and are very quiet.

The noise levels are as low as 19dBA and the range is available in four sizes from 2.5kW to 6.1kW, with four distinct indoor wall units which are available in Ruby Red, Onyx Black, Pearly White and Natural White colours. In addition, a matching room controller is available.

The company’s MELCloud App allows full control and monitoring with built-in Wi-Fi and an i-see Sensor in the unit automatically monitors room occupancy, position and body temperatures to deliver customised comfort.

Graham Temple, Marketing Manager for the company’s range of air conditioning, explains, “Our engineers have developed seriously powerful and sophisticated models but ensured that noise is simply not an issue.”

Mitsubishi Electric’s range of Ecodan air source heat pumps are also endorsed with the Noise Abatement Society’s Quiet Mark.
