Thanks to its latest partnership with PP-R pipe manufacturer, Aquatherm Sales UK, REHAU has been able to expand its polymer district pipe range
REHAU’s RAUTHERMEX and RAUVITHERM PE-Xa ranges are available for district heating applications of up to 160mm.
Previously, any projects requiring larger pipes were offered a steel-polymer hybrid solution; the larger spine pipe would be supplied in steel, with the smaller additions manufactured in PE-Xa.
Now, partnered with Aquatherm Sales UK, REHAU is able to offer PP-R spine pipes for use in conjunction with its PE-Xa pipework. Its complete polymer solution offers enhanced durability, resistance to corrosion, and does not require expansion bends.
Aquatherm has agreed to supply its PP-R pipes of 200-315mm diameter exclusively to REHAU, enabling the company to meet an increased market demand for larger sizes of district heating schemes.
