Fourth edition of Safeguard’s essential product guide

  • 15 Jan 2018

Safeguard‘s damp and waterproofing advice comes in a new, fourth edition of an essential product guide, providing vital information on its various technologies.

The company’s three decades of product innovation and sector expertise is apparent in this 54-page guide, which showcases the Dryzone, Stormdry, Vandex, Oldroyd and Brickfix brands, to name just a few. Product areas include: rising damp, replastering, damp-proof coatings, condensation and mould, rain penetration, masonry repair, basement drainage, and tanking and waterproofing in general.

New additions to the collections are Drybase and Roxil. The Drybase range is for use when protecting building materials and interior surfaces from the sources of dampness, like rain penetration or rising damp, is simply not possible.

The three main products to this range are Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM, Drybase ECS Epoxy Floor Coatings and Drybase Flex Membrane.

The new Roxil Outdoor Protection range comprises high-performance cleaning and waterproofing materials, with Roxil branded products including Wood Protection Cream, Patio Cream and Wood & Patio Cleaner; designed to maintain hard landscaping and outdoor wood for up to 10 years.

These take their place amongst Safeguard’s established products, such as the popular Dryzone Dryrod Damp-proofing Rods and the Dryzone Express Replastering System.

For waterproofing all manner of basements, this guide is an ideal starting point, covering a range of waterproofing slurries and products, including Vandex Super, which penetrates concrete to make it impermeable, Oldroyd cavity drainage membranes and the Sentry Sump System.
