Single-fan AC units from Mitsubishi Electric sure to have admirers

  • 17 Jan 2018

The market is sure to reap the benefits of new single-fan air conditioning units launched by Mitsubishi Electric, offering Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) in what is its smallest City Multi chassis to date.

Commonly referred to as mini-VRF, these provide multi-room heating or cooling for projects under 20kW, offering improved efficiency, flexibility and controllability when compared to multi-split systems.

In an age whereby developers have to consider not only equipment costs but limited space also, mini-VRF systems certainly become a hugely desirable proposition.

These models can be specified for all manner of instances, including boutique hotels, retail and high-end, designer outlets and mixed-use buildings, where the outdoor unit can often prove challenging in terms of siting, noise level and height

Product specialist, Jordan Jeewood, commented: “Developers can mix and match different indoor units from our M Series, Mr Slim and City Multi VRF range including our stylish new wall-mounted units to provide complete design flexibility and makes the PUMY a great choice for multi-room applications.

“The current models are all single phase but we will also have 3-phase models available in May, and they are also able to work with the stylish, coloured MSZ-LN wall-mounted indoor units which makes this a unique offering to the market.”
