SMARTair™ meets all safety and security needs for retirement home

  • 22 Feb 2018

SMARTair™ was recently specified as part of a project to bring Toulouse’s Petites Soeurs des Pauvres retirement home into the 21st century.

unnamedThe retirement home was formerly inside a building dating from the 1800s, but in 2015 work began replacing the old building with new premises.

SMARTair wireless electronic access control was specified with a SMARTair wireless electronic cylinder or escutcheon with built-in card reader protecting all doors. In addition, lift access is controlled with SMARTair wall readers.

The use of bracelets or tags for access makes it simple for older residents to unlock doors and live independently and keeps them safe and secure.

Facility managers and security administrators can easily add, delete or update users or doors from the central system software, with a portable updater providing the link to the system.
