Langley Waterproofing Systems Ltd has announced the addition of ten roofing systems to the NBS National BIM Library.
Langley has worked closely with NBS to create comprehensive layered objects, system data sheets and technical details that directly link to NBS’ specification software and the NBS BIM Toolkit.
NBS is the only library of BIM Objects certified to meet the NBS BIM Object Standard, and offers an integrated suite of tools that work seamlessly to create comprehensive specifications in an informed and efficient way.
Langley has developed a range of ten BIM objects, which include all the system components, the associated technical information and supporting documentation to ensure an accurate specification, reducing any risk of misinterpretation.
Daren Fraser, Head of Technical from Langley, comments: “Whether in relation to fire, thermal efficiency or durability, for any roofing system to perform as expected it’s crucial that the component parts are accurately specified. Langley BIM Objects have therefore been developed in close collaboration with NBS to simplify the process – aiding specifiers and our approved contractor network throughout the initial specification and to also inform planned maintenance and repairs in years to come.”
Langley offers a diverse range of roofing system solutions, all of which are independently certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for 40-year durability.
In addition, Langley systems also achieve Broof(T4) fire rating compliance and have been uniquely tested and passed to this standard with insulation thicknesses from 30mm to 250mm.
Langley Waterproofing Systems Ltd’s BIM objects can be downloaded free via the NBS National BIM Library, or accessed via NBS specification software. To see Langley’s full BIM product range please click here.
