Ahmarra has supplied and installed over 300 severe duty timber fire doors at the new ‘InterContinental London – The O2’ hotel.
The ‘InterContinental London – The O2’ is a 453-room hotel situated adjacent to The O2 Arena on Greenwich Peninsula.
In addition to its five destination-inspired restaurants and bars, the hotel features a world-class health spa, dedicated conference centre, 3,100sqm pillar-free ballroom and a 1,600sqm pre-function space.
Ahmarra’s fire rated doorsets were specified in an FSC cherry veneer and were installed throughout the hotel’s public areas.
Hasham Soliman, General Manager of the hotel, said: “We are thrilled to have opened the doors to our eagerly awaited luxury hotel in one of the capital’s most vibrant new entertainment and events districts.
At InterContinental London – The O2, we have truly exceptional facilities for business and leisure travellers visiting the city and an incredible team ready to put this hotel firmly on London’s centre stage.”
