Blaenau sponsorship see REHAU hit back of the net

  • 20 Nov 2017

uPVC window and door specialist REHAU are sponsoring local football team Blaenau Amateurs FC for their 2017/18 season.

The team, who ply their trade in the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance League Division Two, are based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, the town where 95% of the company’s doors and manufacturers are produced.

As a big employer in Blaenau, REHAU are passionate about supporting all things regarding the local community, making the sponsorship of Blaenau Amateurs FC an easy decision when they made the call.

The sponsorship has seen REHAU contribute funding for new team polo shirts, match balls and training kits.

Martin Klingenberg (centre of photo), on behalf of REHAU, commented: “We have had a presence in Blaenau for 39 years, employing hundreds of local people from the town and surrounding areas.

“With such strong ties to the area, we feel very much a part of the community so we try to give a little something back when we can. We wish Blaenau Amateurs FC every success in the new season, and will be cheering them on all the way!”

Andrew Roberts, from Blaenau Amateurs Football Club, said: “We are very excited to partner with REHAU. As a sports club from Blaenau Ffestiniog, we value having a strong partner from the same area on our side. This sponsorship gives us confidence and motivates us even more to succeed in the upcoming season.”
