Butlins benefits from timber windows and doors installation

  • 29 Apr 2015

After entering into a contract with McGoff & Byrne, NorDan has contributed to the completion of a project for a Butlins resort, located in Minehead.

NorDan’s timber windows and doors have helped to fill the chalets with light

The company has supplied its series of windows and doors for the 117 lakeside chalets that were constructed.

Its full range of products has been incorporated – from its thermally efficient Bordorren entrance doorset to its sliding patio and balcony doors, which have been designed with a timber painted finish.

The company’s timber tilt and turn windows, which are completely reversible, have also been used to introduce natural light into the 2, 3 and 4 bedroom chalets.

The new chalets have been constructed using timber frame systems from Stewart Milne (SMTS)

Easy maintenance & weather resistance

With their timber engineered frames, NorDan’s window and doors are able to withstand harsh weather conditions.

This resistance to the elements made them particularly suitable for installation at Minehead’s seaside Butlins resort.

McGoff & Byrne required low maintenance window and door products with a long life span: NorDan’s product portfolio met this criteria.

The company is also equipped to provide spare parts and support, which appealed to another of McGoff & Byrne’s requirements.
