Crown Trade introduces an upgraded formulation of Clean Extreme

  • 2 Sep 2019

Crown Trade has introduced an upgraded Ultimate Opacity formulation to its popular range of Clean Extreme Stain Resistant Scrubbable Matt emulsions.

The new formulation is available in Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme Stain Resistant Scrubbable Matt, as well as the matt versions of its Clean Extreme Anti-Bacterial and Mould Inhibiting paints. The addition of the new Ultimate Opacity option is set to further strengthen Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme range position as one of the most popular scrubbable and stain-resistant paint systems on the market.

Easily identifiable thanks to the Ultimate Opacity seal on the cans, the new matt paint has been specifically designed to cover existing paint colours, stains and imperfections and to provide a hardwearing, washable and long-lasting white finish. Ideally suited for creating a bright, clean new look, the Ultimate Opacity Clean Extreme matt emulsion also provides the perfect base coat to create new colour schemes and can be used alongside the wider Clean Extreme range of tintable paints.

The new formulation Ultimate Opacity Clean Extreme has been developed to give greater opacity and coverage, while the inclusion of high-quality polymers within the new formula gives it an exceptionally tough scrubbable and stain-resistant matt finish that won’t be ‘washed away’ through regular cleaning.

As well as being subject to various in-house testing procedures, the new Clean Extreme Ultimate Opacity matt paints have also been independently tested by a panel of trade contractors who gave positive feedback about the new formulation’s superior levels of wet and dry opacity, good adhesion, excellent wet edge retention and reduced spatter during application.

Independently tested to ISO 11998 to achieve a Class 1 scrub rating, Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme Stain Resistant Scrubbable Matt offers an impressive durability level of 10,000 scrubs. The range of quick drying and low odour solutions to creating clean and hygienic surfaces also includes Clean Extreme Mould Inhibiting Scrubbable Matt and Clean Extreme Anti-Bacterial Scrubbable Matt. For projects when surfaces to be clean with a bit of sheen, the full Clean Extreme range is also available in a high performance, stain-resistant, durable and washable Acrylic Eggshell finish.

Voted ‘Best Trade Durable Matt in the Market’ by the Decorators Forum, Clean Extreme has become a trusted choice with tradespeople looking for a high-performance, low maintenance finish that is also easy to apply.
