Construction fastening systems specialist EJOT UK has been highly commended at the prestigious INCA Awards, the renowned annual awards programme for the external wall insulation sector, organised by the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA).
Nominated in the ‘Component Supplier of the Year’ category by the INCA Secretariat and judged by system designer members, the commendation recognises the technical excellence, innovation and availability of EJOT’s range of fastening solutions for ETICS (external thermal insulation composite systems) – also known as EWI (external wall insulation).
These innovative engineered components are used in an estimated 60% – 70% of the EWI systems installed nationwide, which play a critical role in enhancing the energy efficiency, internal comfort and visual appeal of residential properties.
This latest accolade for EJOT UK comes two years after it picked up the ‘Innovation Award’ for its Iso-family of engineered products designed for attaching external elements to EWI installations, which judges noted for their versatility, as well as for the thermal improvements they offer.
This range has since been enhanced further with ETA (European Technical Assessment) approval now for the Iso-Corner load-bearing bracket, which can be used to attach medium-heavy elements such as Juliette balconies, railings and downpipes.
Mark Newell, Sales Engineer for ETICS fastening products at EJOT UK, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been highly commended in the Component Supplier of the Year category in the 2020 INCA Awards.
“The importance of ETICS and EWI treatments is only going to increase if the UK’s ambitious carbon reduction goals are to be met, so it is vitally important that we all work together to ensure these retrofit treatments deliver on their promise – which is entirely our focus.
“Our ETICS fastening systems range is designed to offer OEMs and systems designers fixing solutions that they can depend on throughout the lifespan of the installation.
“Every product is designed to provide a reliable, secure fix without creating a thermal bridge that could undermine the level of insulation promised – and thus fail to live up to expectations.”
The Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) is the recognised trade association for the EWI industry, representing the major system designers, a nationwide network of specialist installers and the key component suppliers.
This puts INCA at the forefront of transforming the energy efficiency of homes and businesses in the UK.
As a member of INCA for over 15 years, EJOT actively engages with the EWI industry by collaborating with system designers on new products and systems and continuously developing existing fastening solutions, such as the numerous types of anchors and mounting products, to be even better in the field.
The EJOT UK team offers a wealth of technical support and specialist guidance to system designers and installers to ensure they can achieve the right result every time in all ETICS and EWI applications.
