Garador offers free upgrade on its sectional garage doors

  • 12 Jul 2023

Garador is now offering a free upgrade to Secured by Design on its premium sectional garage doors.

SBD (Secured by Design) is a police driven initiative. It offers official recognition to products meeting specific security standards and provide a high degree of resistance to attempted attacks.

Garador offers this highly regarded SBD status as a free upgrade on all sectional garage doors meeting the eligibility requirements.

These include the 42mm Premium insulated model Garador sectional garage door, without windows, fitted behind the opening and automated by a GaraMatic operator. The product also needs fitting to the Secured by Design standard in order to qualify.

Upon the door’s installation, all that needs to be done is for the fitter to fill in a simple form. This includes the installer, customer and door details. Garador will then send out an official Secured by Design accreditation pack with registration label and badge.

Jon Watson, Garador’s Managing Director, says: “Our Sectional Doors are among the best engineered, best looking doors on the market. They offer a number of exclusive features including high insulation.

“Security is also a vital aspect, especially today when garages are so often used to store valuable DIY, gym, gardening and other equipment.

“Offering this free SBD upgrade on our sectional doors will provide our customers extra assurance that these doors are highly secure and will protect their belongings.”
