Handheld transmitters to operate garage doors are hugely popular and fit in well with modern builds, but nearly everyone has a smartphone these days so it would be hugely convenient to control your garage door via your smartphone – this is why Garador has developed a new range of GaraMatic operators to automate your garage door and a new Android and ios smartphone app, called BlueSecur.

Electric garage doors are undoubtedly popular because of the added convenience they bring and this new setup gives you that, plus it is one of the most advanced of its kind currently available in the UK garage door market.
With a specifically developed app which communicates with a Bluetooth receiver on board the operator itself, these futuristic electric operators introduce an exciting new level of functionality and control.
Bluetooth receivers have been built into Garador’s new GaraMatic 10 and GaraMatic 20 operators and they include an option for the receiver to be switched off if required. An optional external Bluetooth receiver can be purchased as an add-on for the GaraMatic 9.
The BlueSecur app provides gives you full control over your garage door (when automated with Series 4 GaraMatic operator), not only opening and closing but also other functions such as partial opening for ventilation and light control on the operator unit.
The app can be downloaded for free via the Apple Store and Google Play. One user key is supplied with the operator, but if more than one person needs to operate the garage, then additional user keys for Garador’s BlueSecur app can be purchased.
Alternatively, you can also control your garage door from the comfort of your home through the built in HCP interface on the operator unit. This means you can operate your garage door through Amazon’s Alexa or Google’s Home Hub.
Garador’s new Series 4 GaraMatic automatic openers include a number of additional features to ensure leadership in the market. These include built in energy efficient LED lighting to give bright and even lighting in the garage but also reduce energy consumption (the lights in stand by mode consumer less than 1 watt of electricity). Other features include a built in safety devices for automatic stop.
