Glass & Glazing industry was financially stable during 2013 period

The GGF continues to work alongside the government on several campaigns during the course of the year, including the Cut the VAT, Consumer Rights and Fire Safety.

Standards such as the Construction Products Regulation and CE marking also became law, with many companies across the industry having to comply.

The Annual Report highlights the role that the Federation played on technical, political and legislative issues and shows strong online results from marketing and communications strategies, including a 24% (97,500) increase in visitors viewing the GGF website.

The Report outlines the relationships the GGF is developing with Trading Standards and examines the Federation’s progress in the Trading Standards Consumer Code of Approval Scheme.

The Annual Report, which can be downloaded from the website, discusses how the GGF’s Conciliation Scheme helps members resolve disputes with consumers.
