The hot-dip galvanizing specialist, which has been based in Saffron Walden since the mid-70s, currently employs 41 people and is scheduled to relocate early in 2016.
The plant will be contructed with industry-leading technology and sustainable practices in mind, including integrated rainwater collection and storage systems.
Steve Milnes, Regional Director of Wedge Group Galvanizing, pledged that the company will continue to operate as usual from its existing facility until construction is completed.
The galvanizing specialist is has stated the new facility is part of the groups continued commitment to enhance its services:

Haverhill is just a couple of miles down the road from our current site, and will see us best placed to continue growing over the coming decades, as well as maintain our support across a diverse range of industries.
The development is part of Wedge Group’s ongoing commitment to investing in its facilities, providing modern premises for the Acrow team to expand in the months ahead, as well as enrich the local economy.
