REHAU has welcomed an important new team member to its UK head office in Ross-on-Wye, as Sergio Fonseca becomes HR Director for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
Although new to REHAU UK, Sergio has been with the global business for 16 years, previously based in his native Brazil, where he was responsible for the HR function in the REHAU South American businesses.
His arrival showcases the truly global nature of REHAU and as a Doctor of Business Administration, the skills that Sergio has developed make him the ideal person to deliver HR programmes and principles that will benefit everyone at REHAU.
He places great importance on developing individuals to bring out their abilities and make them feel a truly valued part of the team.
Sergio has significant experience in working with the manufacturing plants in South America, with expertise in this area set to prove extremely valuable, as he will be responsible for the HR functions in the UK plants in North Wales and related businesses.
Sergio will be an key contributor to the programmes for Health and Wellbeing and Corporate Social Responsibility and as a member of the CSR Steering Group, Sergio will play an important role in helping REHAU achieve its goals in charity and community activities.
He said: “I aim to keep the spirit of REHAU alive in our colleagues in the business and ensure everyone knows they are essential to our team and ongoing success.
