Stannah announces that the North & North East England service branch, known to many as the Gateshead branch, has moved its offices. Formerly at the Metro Riverside Park, they are now at the Team Valley Trading Estate.
The Stannah service branch had been supporting lifts and stairlifts in homes and businesses across the North and North East from its previous location for around five years.
It has outgrown the old premises and the company was keen to ensure it had a space to continue to deliver excellent customer service to the region. The much larger premises also means the opportunity to co-locate with other operations in Stannah, with the Northern installations depot for stairlift and home lift also joining the branch in the new facilities.
This will bring the benefit of improved communication and learning between the previously disparate teams.
There are also plans to house a brand new showroom for prospective homelift and stairlift customers. Here, they can try out products before buying.
Barry Howatt, Branch Manager of the North & North East England branch, comments: “This is a great opportunity for us to create a Northern hub for increased efficiencies and speed of response for our customers. I’m excited about the opportunities for shared learning this will bring to the team.”
