For buildings where increased security measures are a priority, the Skyline Anti-Climb Barrier system from Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) provides a complete security solution with no compromise on style.
Skyline Anti-Climb is an attractive architectural aluminium design solution, for the prevention of unauthorised access to the roofscape. The system can be installed on any type of roof on any type of building, but is particularly suited to those where high security is paramount; such as schools, hospitals, prisons, secure units and social care facilities.
As part of its ongoing commitment to achieving the highest construction standards, AWMS has released a new Anti-Climb installation guide, featuring step-by-step instructions and clear, detailed diagrams. The guide serves as an additional technical aid to installers, to ensure the most efficient, robust installation methods and ultimately, the maximum performance of the Anti-Climb system.
The Skyline Anti-Climb installation guide is part of a full suite of new online guides covering the entire Skyline product range.
Skyline Anti-Climb gives designers great flexibility to create appealing and effective defence against unwanted intrusion at the roofline in new build, refurbishment and retro-fit projects.
The system can also be used in conjunction with all Alumasc gutter systems and Alumasc Guardian Anti-Climb downpipes, resulting in highly effective, design-driven security provision.
Comprising components which are lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant and easy to install, Skyline Anti-Climb offers a life expectancy of 40 years in rural and suburban areas and up to 25 years in industrial or marine locations; during which time, only minimal maintenance will be required.
In addition to roofline application, Skyline Anti-Climb can also be installed effectively to cap security fencing, on parapet walls, or on any part of a structure which is vulnerable to unauthorised access via climbing. Anti-Climb Barriers are made from rolled 2mm heavy grade aluminium sheet to BS 1470: 1972 and are 100% recyclable.
Skyline Anti-Climb is manufactured entirely in the UK and finished in BBA approved polyester powder coatings in our in-house powder coating facility. Furthermore, the system is supplied complete with all components, for efficient installation on site. Additional installation and on-site assistance is also available from our unrivalled UK technical support team.
