Södra launches new website for UK customers

  • 16 Apr 2019

Södra, supplier of structural timber and engineered wood products, has announced the launch of a brand-new website for its UK timber customers.

The site, which went live earlier in 2019, will serve as an industry-leading, go-to source of information for those interested in specifying and working with timber.

As the UK is one of Södra’s largest markets, it was vital to have a good UK-focused website to provide customers with in-depth information about all of the company’s products.

Nigel Buckley-Ryan UK sales director for merchants at Södra, comments on the launch: “The site comprises a host of product information, specific customer pages and up-to-date news from both Södra and the timber sector in general, as well as an image library for customers recommending, selling or marketing Södra products. Nigel describes the website as “an easy-to-navigate, digital timber hub that’s set to become a must-see for all those that wish to keep right up to speed with the latest timber developments.”

Jeremy English, Great Britain and Ireland sales director for manufacturers at Södra, also comments: “Timber has been described as a ‘miracle’ building material – and for us there is no doubt that it can overcome many of today’s construction challenges, from helping to meet government housing targets to increasing speed and agility of construction dramatically.

“Timber is absolutely the best method for sustainable construction, and we believe this website will not only answer specific questions on product and specification but help us to spread that all-important timber message.”
