VinylPlus will launch the next 10-year Commitment of the European PVC industry to Sustainable Development at the 2021 edition of the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum. The theme is #TOWARDS2030.
VinylPlus®, the Voluntary Commitment to sustainable development of the European PVC industry, brought together more than 180 participants from 24 countries at its recent virtual VinylPlus Sustainability Forum (VSF) (#CIRCULARVINYL).
VinylPlus, the Voluntary Commitment to sustainable development of the European PVC industry, recycled 771,313 tonnes of PVC in 2019 – more than 96% of the programme’s 2020 target.
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in VinylPlus® deciding to host the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum 2020 online; the single day ‘virtual’ event will take place on 15 October 2020.
The 2020 edition of the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum, themed #CIRCULARVINYL, will focus on the key sustainability challenges and transformation for the vinyl industry in the years to come, both in the European and global contexts.
VinylPlus® was pleased to announce at the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum, that in 2018, it recycled a total of 739,525 tonnes of PVC within its framework.
