UP Building Products, the UK builders’ merchants and suppliers, is set to open two new branches early this year, to add to its current branches in Ipswich, Newmarket, Maidenhead and Enfield.
The business has increased its revenue from £8 million to £17 million over the past three years and doubled the number of employees from 30 to 60 over the same period. It is renowned for providing a large range of building products such as James Hardie cladding, decking, guttering, and UPVC fascia boards to major housebuilders, builders’ merchants and the trade.
Andrew Staff, Managing Director, UP Building Products (pictured), says: “Despite the challenging times everyone has faced in recent years, we’re proud of the fact that UP Building Products has achieved sustainable growth, including opening new branches in Maidenhead and Enfield over the past two years.
“We are delighted to announce that will be opening further new branches in Bury St. Edmunds and Sutton Coldfield in early 2023 and we are also building a brand new, bigger Newmarket branch close to our current location.”
UP Building Products will open the new Bury St. Edmunds branch later in January. Sutton Coldfield will follow in February and the newly built Newmarket branch in March.
Andrew continues: “These new branches truly mark our commitment to the future. Newmarket will be much larger at approximately 13,000 square feet compared to the 8,000 square feet we have currently, which has allowed us to incorporate a carbon zero new head office on site.
“The new Sutton Coldfield branch will also be a reflection of our commitment to sustainability and Brickability’s net zero target by 2030.
“2023 is set to be an exciting year for UP Building Products. We are proud of the reputation we have built as a reliable brand that provides exceptional customer service and we enjoy building excellent relationships with trade customers, builders’ merchants, and major housebuilders alike.”
UP Building Products supplies a large range of products including fascias, guttering, soffits, cladding and decking from well-known brands such as Swish, Freefoam, James Hardie, Floplast, and more.
