British ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia announces it has been nominated in two categories in the prestigious Electrical Wholesaler Awards 2021.
The company’s COVID-19 Support Campaign is on the shortlist for the ‘Industry Initiative Award’, while the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Multivent MEV range is a ‘Best New Product’ contender.
Winners of these two important awards will be, in-part, chosen by an industry vote. Voting closes on Friday 30 April 2021, with the announcement of winners taking place during a live ceremony on Thursday 20 May 2021.
The Electrical Wholesaler Awards provides a unique platform for the recognition of excellence and achievement across the electrical wholesale sector and has done so for almost a decade.
Winners are chosen via a two-step process that ensures only the very best pick up a coveted stamp of industry approval. Finalists must first face an online vote by industry professionals, before facing a critique by a judging panel that comprises individuals with extensive industry knowledge and experience.
Jenny Smith, Head of Marketing at Vent-Axia, comments: “It’s great to have recognition for our efforts to support the industry throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and for our work communicating the essential role of ventilation in mitigating virus transmission.
“We’re also thrilled that our new Lo-Carbon Multivent MEV range is on the shortlist in the Best New Product category, highlighting the many benefits it provides to housebuilders and developers, including providing a simple and effective solution to meet the Future Homes Standard in new build properties.”
Vent-Axia has a commitment to improving public health by improving indoor air quality (IAQ) through ventilation. With its COVID-19 Support Campaign, the company sets out to go the extra mile.
The focus on how it could help in the national response against COVID-19, laying out a three-tier plan to help support its customers and the general public, by focussing on Critical Supply, Critical Communication and Critical Technical Advice.
The campaign was influential in helping in the fight against COVID-19, by supplying critical projects; sharing vital ventilation guidance and information; plus offering essential expert advice to customers and businesses. The company led the way in these activities, dominating the share of voice on communications and providing expert advice.
Vent-Axia’s campaign included the critical supply of ventilation to COVID-19 hospital wards and field hospitals including the NHS Nightingale and Rainbow hospitals; critical communications with its #StayHealthy campaign and critical expert advice including its useful guide ‘The Effect of Ventilation on COVID-19’.
In October 2020, Vent-Axia’s COVID-19 Support Campaign received recognition, with the British Chamber of Commerce naming the company a ‘UK Business Hero’. This is part of the Chamber’s campaign to recognise the incredible work UK businesses were undertaking, in the most challenging of years.
The new Multivent MEV family range of mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) and decentralised MEV (dMEV) provides a simple and effective solution to help housebuilders meet the Future Homes Standard.
The range is the ideal solution for new build residential projects, helping housebuilders meet Dwelling Emission Rates (DER) requirements through its market-leading energy efficiency and IAQ for homeowners.
A reliable, highly efficient, quiet and easy to operate ventilation system is key to unlocking a healthier, greener future. The Vent-Axia Multivent MEV family offers just that, with this highly efficient range offering a choice of eight MEV and eight dMEV models to ensure housebuilders have exactly the right ventilation for a property.
Both the MEV and dMEV units offer an easy-to-operate control platform and extremely low operating noise. Additional benefits include increased ventilation rates, compact design, easy installation, as well as simple and accurate commissioning.
With a common digital control platform throughout the range and smart accessories for use in the home, the MEV and dMEV range is a breeze to install, commission and control.
Plus, the wealth of control and switching options across the range gives housebuilders the flexibility to provide a solution for any new build scenario.
Many businesses are discovering the advantages of outsourcing their efforts, though others still contend with the question of whether their lead generation can be improved out of house. Insight Data has more…
