Bespoke cable hanging system offers strength and flexibility

  • 22 May 2015

Designed to be both stronger and lighter than other solutions on the market, Pegasus has been dubbed as an “up-to-date” modular cable hanging system.

Whilst traditional cable hanging systems come in set sizes, Pegasus is made to order, offering flexibility and convenience to Ellis’ customers.

Pegasus is now available

Its aluminium spine is able to support any quantity and combination of plastic cable hangers.

Made from low smoke and fume zero halogen polymer, these plastic cable hangers can accommodate a wide range of cables.

Pegasus: the advantages

Manufactured from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium, Pegasus can be installed by one person; traditional galvanised steel systems usually require two pairs of hands.

The aluminium spine is fully enclosed to protect against corrosion via brake dust.

Each hanger has a curved saddle shape, preventing cable damage that can be caused by sharp edge contact.

Pegasus’ modular design also allows assembly with any number of hangers in any combination; this feature enables designers to create the bespoke cable layout they want.

Ellis Patents also offers the creation of CAD files, to allow for the production of accurate drawings, upon request.
