CLIQ security system updated by Abloy

  • 10 Feb 2015

Abloy UK has worked to improve its CLIQ security system by enhancing and adding features to its PROTEC2 CLIQ Key and Cylinder

Users are able to remove lost or stolen keys from Abloy’s CLIQ system.

The system also provides audit trails on cylinders and padlocks. Its memory capacity has been revised to enable users to store more audit trails than they could do on the original system.

The battery power of Abloy’s PROTEC2 CLIQ Key has been developed to include clock and time features. It has been re-designed to last for much longer; it can now last for up to ten years.

The design of the Key has been updated to give it a modern look. It has been developed to include LED indication features on both sides and space for an RFID tag, giving users the option to use one if necessary.

To increase its security, Abloy’s PROTEC2 CLIQ Cylinder has also been updated to include an electronic and mechanical reset feature.
