Manufactured from P5 flooring grade particleboard, EGGER Protect has been used throughout the new 65sq metre facility.

The product provides dual-sided weather resistance and added safety with its anti-slip properties, for the entire 17sq metre viewing area. It was crucial to have a flooring board that would both survive the wear and tear of more than 23,000 visitors a year and would protect the visitors by preventing accidents.

Joiner Karl Fisher of The Dreamstone Woodworking Company comments: “The boards proved to be highly moisture-resistant and we laid them using EGGER’s Joint & Joist Adhesive to benefit from the Lifetime Guarantee.”

EGGER Protect contains wood-based materials sourced from Kielder Forest, meaning that the product has returned home.
