Senior Architectural Systems has continued to progress its innovative range of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling during 2017 to offer a ‘one stop shop’ solution for fenestration requirements.
Senior’s patented PURe® aluminium windows and doors have quickly become a big favourite with specifiers alike, due to their capabilities in offering incredibly low U-values, slim sightlines and ease of fabrication.
This year has seen Senior further develop its thermally-efficient PURe® range by adding a new reversible, overswing window, designed to lower maintenance expenses by allowing the window to be cleaned from the inside.
A new triple-track option for Senior’s visually pleasing PURe® SLIDE aluminium doors enables each of the three door panels to slide; this has been extremely well received by designers who have a need to emphasise the sense of light and space to allow for wider views, larger openings and incredible full length sliding glass walls.
Extra design flexibility has been assured with the introduction of the new mullion-drained version of Senior’s SF52 curtain wall system, perfect for creating slick and uniform facades.
This systems offers invisible drainage, with a specially designed method allowing the system to drain through the vertical pressure plate.
As well as strengthening its existing range of aluminium fenestration solutions, Senior’s freshest innovations have had a massive impact on its order book. For instance, regarding the education sector, Senior has seen a big increase in requests for the SF52 system in use for many University Technical College projects across the country.
The combination of supreme thermal and acoustic performance of Senior’s innovative PURe® windows has also resulted in a selection of contracts being earnt throughout both the student accommodation and private rental sectors.
Senior are hopeful of a busy 2018, thanks to its offering to specifiers of the full range of glazing solutions, all benefiting from the superb performance characteristic of aluminium, whilst being supported by industry leading in-house technical and design expertise.
