The nominations are now in for the Construction Enquirer Awards, which will take place at the Vox, Birmingham NEC on 18th October as part of UK Construction Week.
The industry will now vote for the winners across twelve categories, including the ‘Best Main Contractor to Work For (Over £250m Turnover)’ Award which will be contested by 22 companies including Willmott Dixon, BAM, Kier Group and Carillion amongst others.
In return, contractors have been putting forward their favourite clients for the ‘Best Client To Work For (Private Sector)’ which includes nominees such as the University of Cambridge, Heathrow Airport and National Grid.
Nathan Garnet, Event Director for UK Construction Week, commented that the calibre of nominees has been ‘extremely high’. He said:
“We look forward to see who comes out on top at what promises to be an evening of pride and celebration at UK Construction Week. Voting is now open and I would encourage everyone to take the time to support the companies who make construction such a great industry to work in.”
