The TG165 Imaging IR Thermometer The TG165 eliminates the blind guesswork of troubleshooting by combining a single spot IR thermometer with the power of a thermal camera in a compact package. Built around FLIR’s Lepton micro thermal imaging camera core, the Thermometer makes it easy for users to identify invisible hot and cold spots from[…]
Technicians, engineers, scientists and users of infrared measurement equipment will have the opportunity to learn more about IR physics and applications across a variety of fields, from inspection of electrical installations, building surveys, industrial and automation applications, advanced research and optical gas imaging to NDT. The event is being hosted at the Clarion Hotel Sign[…]

The silver bullet, at least in the minds of Government officials, is Building Information Modelling (BIM). BIM is not a new concept, but the pace of development and adoption has noticeably quickened since the Government made it the preferred method for delivering all centrally procured contracts from 2016. Not surprisingly, this has prompted a flood of[…]
The take up of BIM has tripled over the last three years since the launch of NBSs UK National BIM Survey and will become a mandatory requirement from 2016 across all publicly procured buildings and infrastructure projects.
The undertaking of the course allows Senior to work with clients to utilise BIM and keep building costs low, by identifying potential problems before they arise, as well as having the knowledge to manage data effectively.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) allows designers to visualise real components at various stages, right through to construction and operations.
The datasets featured on the interactive portal is UK Land from the GeoInformation Group, which identifies land usage throughout the UK, including the location and extent of 27 land use and land cover classes.
The course will take place on the following dates in 2014: 7th – 11th July – Kent 8th – 12th September – Cardiff 15th – 19th September – Maynooth, Ireland 6th – 10th October – Aberdeen 20th – 24th October – Manchester 10th – 14th November – Nottingham 8th – 12th December – Kent
