One of the global leaders in insulated panel systems for the building envelope has become the latest high profile systems manufacturer to join the MCRMA, the trade association for the metal cladding and roofing sector.
Kingspan Insulated Panels offers a range of systems with insulation cores ranging from A-class mineral fibre to Kingspan’s flagship QuadCore technology. The company’s solutions support the building industry’s goals to achieve ever higher standards through its dedication to maximising construction efficiency, while also delivering high performance and fire protection.
By joining the MCRMA, the Kingspan Insulated Panels team believes it will benefit by making its voice heard more clearly within a rapidly changing building envelope market, and being part of a wider network of like-minded businesses at the forefront of technical innovation and quality.
Aisling Sands, Technical Director – UK & Ireland at Kingspan Insulated Panels, comments: “It has always been important for our voice to be heard in the market, and ensure we make a valuable and active contribution to the future direction of the sector. Becoming a member of the MCRMA, therefore, will support us to do so, given how well respected the association is within the cladding and roofing industry more broadly and the calibre of its membership.”
Clare Fenton, Chair of the MCRMA, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Kingspan Insulated Panels to the MCRMA, and we look forward to working with the team to help them maximise the value of their membership.
“As our membership grows, so does the technical expertise available within the MCRMA, and that will ultimately benefit the industry as a whole as it supports our work to publish additional guidance documents, CPDs, training programmes and other best practice resources.”
The MCRMA is an association that welcomes all categories of businesses involved in the UK’s metal building envelope supply chain. In addition to systems manufacturers like Kingspan Insulated Panels, the membership includes component manufacturers, system installers, independent inspectors and a wide variety of industry support businesses, such as building envelope design specialists.
