Axion

Axion

Axion is an engineering-led company operating in the resource recovery sector. It is committed to putting science to work to find new ways to minimise waste and recover value from materials at end of first life. Its mission is ‘Working towards a world where nothing goes to waste’.

Launched in 2002 by directors Keith Freegard and Roger Morton, the business has expanded its consultancy and engineering services. Axion also runs its own sorting and reprocessing plants, producing a range of high quality polymers with recycled aggregates and alternative fuels as by-products of the process.

Its team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic engineers, technicians and project managers work with customers across the globe.

The experience of developing its own plants and products as well as providing consultancy services gives Axion an unrivalled breadth of technical, commercial and market knowledge and expertise.

Their technical and commercial advice and hands-on support services cover every stage of the circular economy. Providing invaluable sector expertise, Axion helps business teams, investors and engineers to set up and run resource recovery initiatives including researching and trialling new process technologies, improving plant productivity and setting up specialist collection schemes.

The team also works with professionals from brands and industry sectors wanting to discover how to design for sustainability, increase product recycling opportunities, or both.
